As a double graduate from Northwestern University, Anique has practiced over 20 years in psychotherapy focused on individual, couples, and family dynamic treatment. Working with a broad spectrum of clients has guided her expert testimony in areas of child abuse, forensic interviewing, court preparation, trauma, evaluating the criminal court case, domestic violence, human trafficking, and child development; presenting at national conferences to the same. Utilizing her vast work in family and child dynamics compelled her into consulting as a Guardian Ad Litem which artfully combines Anique's expertise in order to advocate for the best interest of children and their families.
Anique's experience as a Forensic Specialist has allowed her the privilege of overseeing forensic services in the Superior and Juvenile Court systems, has assisted with pre-trial preparations, functioned as a resource on how to effectively question experts, analyze victim/witness statements, and helped educate attorneys about a child’s capacity to communicate their experience amidst trauma. She is an instructor for Child First Georgia, has consulted and testified with JAG, has testified across the globe in over 30 different jurisdictions, has appeared and analyzed cases on CNN, The Discovery Channel, Court TV, TVOne, and the Nancy Grace Show as an invited guest expert. Anique was beholden to work with Jada Pinkett Smith focusing on Adolescent Human Trafficking in a CNN special film, "Sex Trafficking: The New American Slavery". Prior to opening her private practice, she was the Director of Forensic Services at the Fulton County District Attorney's Office, Executive and Clinical Director of the Northwest Georgia Child Advocacy Center, and Program Manager for the Georgia Center for Child Advocacy in Fulton and Dekalb Counties.
